Definately want to get a 4dr 4wd manual 5sp sidekick. I've driven a '97 Kick that was in okay shape. I've seen a lot of 2nd gen Vitaras for about the same price. What's your opinion on how the two generations compare. I guess I like the boxier looks of the older ones better, but performance/quality trumps looks always. Is the 2.5 v6 an improvement, or are the i4 more useful? Please let me know what your opinion is. I'm lookin' to spend <$4000 and will consider a '95 up to an '02.
