Default With a/c what controls the supplemental electric fan?

Continuing my series of newb questions ...

i removed the a/c from our new 500$ buggy/beater ...

noticed the second fan, electric, in front of the radiator ...

with my removal of the a/c system complete will the fan still come on at a predetermined engine temp or did it get it's signal from the a/c system?

if it's controlled by a thermostat switch i won't bother anything ...

if it's controlled by a/c system i'll wire a switch ...

thanks ...

Edit:

my sig shows up in user cp but not on this post ...

this question is in regards to a '95 tracker ...

The condenser fan is controlled by the AC system and has its own relay. If you removed the entire evaporator case from the vehicle, that should have eliminated system communication with that relay. Wire a switch to ground the relay at terminal 3 (blue/red wire) for fan control. If you left the connector intact when you removed the case, you should find this wire in a 10 wire connector already inside the vehicle which will make the connection to the relay from a switch fairly simple.
