Default just bought a 96 sidekick sport. power windows and doors dont work

Just bought another sidekick (deal was too good to pass up) and all 4 power windows and doors do not work when i bought it. The prev owner said they all worked then suddenly they stopped. He replaced the fuse, they worked again once and then never again after that.

he brought it to a mechanic apparantly and he was told it was the window sensor........window sensor?! never heard of such a thing.

I took the door panels off and noticed that the drivers side window has been disconnected from its mounts and is being help up by tape!!!

i need to get this fixed asap so i can start on the mechanical issues

fuses under the dash are good...whats next? ive heard this is a common problem.

thanks

The "fuse" is a circuit breaker, on the end of the fuse box. Has a round silver disk with a hole in it.
