Other years should fit, my 89 Tracker can use doors up to 93. Check with an auto salvage yard and they can steer you in the right direction. They all look alike I measured a 98 door and it matched my 89.

I work for a salvage yard, we use the Hollander system, and according to my computer its got to be a 96-98 tracker only. If need be I can get locations to yards all across the U.S. and locate and get a number for you. Just need to know what state your in and if you want electric or manual windows.

Travis is right. I use Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and it says the same.

For the most part, the Hollander system only shows us the exact replacement, there could be some very minor difference in the door such as in the trim or the molding, inside door panel design. Its basically a system designed for accuracy in dealing with body shops and insurance companies so that a replacement part is exact in every detail. Its especially frustrating when it comes to wheels. If a person is looking for a wheel for a 93 sidekick, the hollander system will only let me look up wheels that it came from the factory with, with the exact factory image or design, but everyone knows, there are other vehicles that will have the same bolt pattern or offset. So deez your right, a door off a 92 did fit your 96, but there also might have been something some minor detail that for an insurance company or body shop would keep it from being a direct oem factory replacement, which is the "law" they abide by so to speak. LOL so anyways, thats my .02 worth

I think it's because Geo didn't offer the 4dr till much later than Suzuki. '92? for the Sidekick 4dr, '96? for the Tracker. I don't think there were any major revisions in body style in all the 1st gen, 89-98, other than 2dr/4dr. There may well be trim/interior panel differences as Travis said. My bet is earlier 4dr sidekick doors fit later 4dr Trackers... perfect match? hrm dunno.

I'll be the first to admit that the Hollander system isn't 100% accurate. More like 97% accurate. I've come accross many errors the best we hope for is that we don't send an engine clear across the U.S. and spend 400 on freight only to find out that Hollander overlooked something and have to spend 400 gettin it back LOL. Doesn't happen often, but its frustrating as hell when it does. So infallable system..no. Resourceful..Yes
