Default catcon?

Lets say I live in a non pollution controlled area. How would I go about removing the catcon without messing with the EGR? Since when I got my zuk it was running in limp mode I am guessing that the cat is bad and I dont really feel like spending the money on a zuk I bought for 20 bucks.

zuk info should be in sig

Unless you know for sure it melted, leave it alone. If it is toast, replace it with a cheap one... taking it off is illegal no matter where you are & it will just make your car run like !@#$, so why do that? You can get even hi flow cats pretty cheap anyways.

that $20 zuk , the one nobody believes, it will be come urban internet folklore .
that is cool,, best ever,

i wish i had a trick that would work,
but:
you can

put a restricter in the exhaust that mimics a cat con. size ( 1 inch ?)<guessing.

or

get a E01 ECU from japan or some other country that has no EGR. Yes,there are....

hack your ecu and tell us how to change the AFR maps, and how to defeat the
EGR monitor and the punish bit (limphome sets) ( Id pay for that ...)

many just drive it dirty , and ignore the red hot exh manifold and the loss of power.
hey , gas is cheap.

hey, you want egg in your beer ?

hehehehehehe
