Question Rim and tire fitment on a 92 Sidekick

I don't know anything about rims but I know what I want. Can anyone help? What backspacing and offset, also positive or negative offset, would I need to run 15x8 rims on a 95 Sidekick without problems? Without spacers as well. I want to use 31x10.50 tires.

Thanks for any help.

I never did get all that stuff but yet I can pull a car completely apart and put it back together no problem.

many are running 15x8s you just have to make sure the back spacing is right. which is what I would like to know too.

just measure your stock rims. from the backside of the flange to the backside of the rim. make sure that the rims you get are the same. you can fit those tires on your rims too. I have 31/11.5/15 on my stock rims. they do just fine plus i dont run very much air in them so i dont have to worry about them coming off the rims either.

I thought if a rim was a different width that you needed a different backspacing. I really don't know much about rims. I like them though.

oh my mistake yeah you should get diff backspacing. so what i would do is measure your stockers then subtract an inch or so. that should work. also if go to a tire shop you should be able to test fit them before you buy them. or they should be able to help you find ones that will fit.

I want to buy the black rims from here: Custom Wheels & Rims
I just don't know what the best backspacing is.

ok i did some looking and by what i have read. some people have gone with 2.5 inch backspacing and then i read of going 3-3.5 backspacing. so I would go with at lease 3" backspacing. I would check with the company to see if you can return them if they dont fit. just in case.
