Default would 92 tracker 16V P/S fit in 89 8V Tracker??

this is probably a pretty dumb question but i want to know for sure if it fits before i buy..

anyways, i found a whole power steering system at a pick a part in what i think is to be a 92 maybe 93 1.6 16V tracker.. i was wanting to no if this system would fit my 89 1.6 8V Tracker??

im thinking it should since i do have a 16V Block, just with the 8V parts..

Thanks

Don't forget to grab all the pulleys and belts - those are different, too

you will need the bracket also. there is a sensor or some electric connection on the pump. I dont know what its for but you might have to get that also. maybe someone else will know what its for. I know mine has a wire that plugs into the pump.

I believe you'll also need the p/s gearbox.

Gearbox
Pump, with its pulley
reservior
mounting bracket
hoses
the old belt, so you have the right length for thenew belt you're going to buy... right?
The crank pulley should have 2 belt runs.

the pulley he is talking about is the one on the crank. that has two runs on it one for alt and water pump and other for power steering. the gear box it at the end of the steering wheel shaft. bolted to the frame on left side. you will need it because yours will not have the fittings for the power steering lines. you cant miss it.
