Default brake pads

hey guys, jsut wondering if anyone had a guide to changing the front brake pads on a 1995 1.6L 2dr hardtop vitara?

i tried searching, but couldnt really come up with anything.

i know basically..

- jack it up
- remove wheel
- remove bolts for caliper
- remove caliper from disc
- push pistons
- remove pads

and ive been told not to remove the brake lines, otherwise i'll have to bleed the brakes

but if anyone has an exact guide that would be greatly appreciated

Hey

That seems an accurate description. The best thing is just to try it.
Thats what i did for the first time ;-)
As you said dont remove the brake lines. Its the only thing you can do that can make it go wrong.
Beside that you could buy Haynes manual or something like that if you really dont feel that confortable to do it.Its not that expensive and its worth it.

Regards

It's better than nothing IMHO.
Don't now why everybody seems to hate Hayne's manuals. For the home mechanic wanna-be they seem quite ok and way less expensive than FSM...
