I just bought a 95 tracker and also got new top for it. I have no idea on how the back window stays in place on the bottom. It just flaps in the wind. If someone has some pics of the hardware that i need to secure it or of how it should work that would be great.
There should be an aluminum extrusion (something like a rod or bar) with a seal on it, this comes with the vehicle, not the top. There is a bead on the bottom of the rear window; the bead slides into the extrusion, and this fits into clips. I have a similiar problem on my 97 as I have no clips. Good luck
there is a bar that the top slides in to but i can't see where it would clip in to. there arethree clips on the top of the back door but the bar will not clip in to them. should there be any clips on the inside of the car. also there are two weather strip on the back one on the bar and one on the door. is that right or should there only be one? any pictures of how it should be would be very helpful
Not to steal Williamsin1900's post, but, since we are on the subject of the bar on the back window, the clip that holds the bar to the vehicle on the driver's side is broken in my Tracker. Any ideas where I can get one. Tries internet search for part and can't find it anywhere.
