Default 1.6 efi to carb

Hey im lookin at buyin a 91 geo tracker 4x4 5spd 8v for real cheap. And i have some plans for this little guy. My brother owned a 97 two years ago and it was a blast. Im wanting to get rid of the efi and convert it to a carb. i read that a 1.3 SUZUKI SAMURAI intake manifold will work on the 1.6 tracker. also that i would have to replace the coil and distribitor. also there will be an issue with the fuel pressure correct needing like 7psi instead of 30psi. could i get something to reduce the fuel pressure or would that burn out the pump? would a samurai fuel pump work? i know some people wonder why i would go from efi to carburetion. i dont like using a megasquirt to piggyback the ecu for and modifications i plan on doing. i plan on taking the engine to get sleeved if possible then rebuild it, port and polish the head, custom header, webber carb, and a supercharger.

read a few post back same question and all the answers.

the cam gear on end must match the dizzy your are using.
these answers are on a perm, sticky on other sites.

sure if you dead head the EFI pump in your car it will burn it up.
i posted a link just a few posts back showing 50 fuel regulator on one site alone.

good reason, just want to tune diff motor and not spend whole summer tuning the stupid aftermarket Puter. ( i salute you, it is a big waste )
i would never do it ,unless it is a learning experience or something to do retired.

Here is where to start, the parts swappers heaven.
Zuwharrie.Com BBS - Index

i read the whole swap section there, words can not describe the depth !
( no sticky's here ,sorry to say)

cam match dizzy.
dizzy mount must stay with dizzy.

(play in that box)

you can build up any cam you want.
you are not limited to OEM cams,

gear match , and rotation,
with a centrifical dizzy advance the direction is key.
