Could not find the administrative tools on my own post; the tires on craigslist were sold.

I have read everywhere a 235 is the biggest possible but on my little 95' Geo it shows 195 on the side of the frame and am curious if I could actually run these with no lift and such. It will be on a 2wd model tracker.

Place this in your comment if you want help: YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE, TRANS, MILEAGE, AUTO/MANUAL HUB(if 4x4)

Default tires and rims.

first q: is on road , off road, or both,?
if used on road.
next q: is what rim width.?
if OEM size, , 135s cause the tire to deform and crown in the center (quote top 10 timer makers) (rim is too closely spaced) [ i just corrected this }
so car will be twitchy on road, hard to steer. requiring constant correction
and poor braking directional control

drawing body parts is the least of the issue.

the tire manufacture has table for this and you can ask them.
the big tire shops will answer way better than me.

cheers.

Jerry, pretty much looking for cheap tires with decent on-road abilities. I think 95 could handle 215 okay; but it just looks lower than my other one with the amount of lift the 4x4 one has.

i think this is true. 215 should be ok. (ok , tire likes rim. but hit wells ,?)
the tire stores will not answer because of law suits, etc.

but the facts are on the tire makers pages, after all someone must engineer them in . right? ( hint, they even have weight , pressure tables ! )
if you like brand xxxx, go to brandxxx.com and read.

the full tire spec is there, and the min rim widths, etc.

if it rubs ,thats YOUR problem.
only you know what springs are on car.

many of these cars have B&G springs, or the like for lift.
some have 2 inch drop, yah , that is right.

tires are complex and way out of my area. but is do know enough, to be careful.

You need to do your homework.
what car, what mods have been done (still finding them on mine, ouch)

the door frame tag means nothing if you run oversize tire.
so to go yourtire.com and look up the weight pressure tables.

look at walmart.
they have , Uniroyal for good price.
liberator A/T

$431 for 4 installed out door price.

but , as fuel prices have fallen, remember the price of tires must fall too.
tire are made from oil. (unlike tractor tires , rubber shortage now)
