Default X90 Sidekick Tracker similarities

Hello everyone,

I am a new forum member and an owner of a 1996 X-90 (automatic 4WD).

I can't help noticing that there is no X90 in the model list
Please excuse me if this question was asked million times before, but how similar (in terms of parts/servicing/suspension) are x90s to Sidekicks and Trackers?

Thanks so much for your help,

Milo.

Yeah, aside from the obvious body differences & some redesign of things like air intake etc, they are mostly a 2 seater trackick. So you're in the right place. Welcome to the forum.

Well, it didn't take long to shoot out my first real question

The X90 I own has power locks, but I can't seem to locate the lock control module. Since there is no factory alarm, I would like to install one and connect it to the existing lock actuators.

Thanks guys!

Milo.

3: long in to lib. (bar code is user name) create pw.
4: go to E sources. bingo Car repair, bingo chiltons, bingo full schematics.

I do have (what I believe is) a complete service book, but I was not able to find any information on the physical location of the module, just the wiring schema.

My background is in electrical and computer engineering, so there will be no problem connecting the alarm, once I find out WHERE to stick my welding gun

Thanks for the tip though!

id do have 96 real fsm on kick but not x90 but ,will see if pn match.first
if they do that widens the door (no pun) further.
