Default sloppy shifter

I have a 1993 suzuki sidekick with a 5 speed. The shifter seems to have an extreme amount of slop. When I put it in 1st gear. the shifter falls down to where neutral would be but its still in 1st. There is about 4in of slop in all directions in all gears. What could this be?

Shack...there are plastic bushing that wear out. Please do a search for this information. jtgh has posted a fix for this with the OEM part #s for easy ordering.
Hopes this helps,
Bear

Southwest Suzuki

800-256-7933 or 817-565-1200

Ask for Keith Sexton

I was turned on to him from this board and he is awesome.. He knows the parts.... Just tell him the pic number you are looking at and the number of the parts in that pic...
