Question 1989 Sidekick Distributor

I made a post earlier this week about a Sidekick for $500 that needs a distributor.

I went and checked it out and this thing is in perfect condition, it's probably never even seen mud.

I've decided to bite it and purchase it, the problem is I need to get the distributor first.

I've found them for $135 online and I wanted to know if this is what I need.

Distributor - 1989 Suzuki Sidekick - AutoPartsWarehouse.com

Would this be the part I need?

Thanks for the help guys!

That photo looks like it has everything except the rotor and cap. To be clear, a complete distributor assembly includes the basic housing, shaft and gear plus the following:
- Signal rotor (the square piece that spins with the center shaft)
- Ignitor assembly (part of breakerless ignition system under the rotor)
- Vacuum controller assembly (mounted to the side of the assembly)
- Rotor and cap

There will be a pair of wires coming from the distributor that connect to the coil. You'll also need a bolt to secure the distributor in place, and a smaller bolt to secure the ground wires to the distributor.

Thanks a lot for the info.
The guy has the rotor and cap so the actual distributor is all I needed.

I went ahead and ordered the part and should be getting it soon.

I'll keep everyone posted on my adventure, because I just can't wait to get into one of these!
