Engine fit for 1998 Tracker

Hey Everyone,

Haven't posted in a while, but wondering what year engines will fit into a 1998 Geo Tracker. Also, would a Suzuki Vitara, Sidekick, or Samurai, even a Kia Sportage engine fit? If so, what years of these.

hey, thanks for the reply.

i am looking to bolt it directly into the factory mounts. no drilling, cutting, welding, or mod'ing of any sorts. just a simple replacement with another tracker or similar engine.

i just need to know the years that will fit into a 1998 and work with the factory transmission, electronics, exhaust, etc...
