Mines an '89 1.6L 8v FI and my pump is in the fuel tank. You might be able to hotwire an electric fuel pump to a source on your ignition ( i.e. ignition on, pump on) but im not the greatest with these things hahaha.

good luck anyways

is a carbi ,
just put a 7psi electic pump on it and forget the one on the head.
in fact put it way to the rear to avoid vapor lock.

You need a low pressure pump or a regulator, 2-3 psi normally works well. Higher pressures tend to flood the carb.

sorry, not fam. with zuk EU carbs. he didnt post , country or engine data. (mix)
if the float presses down, due to too high pressure. , that is a problem.

pick one.
Suzuki Sidekick Fuel Pressure Regulator - Car Parts Wholesale

Weber Converion Kits

i scanned 2000 pages of old zuk carbi books,
no mention of pressures spec. (old fuel pump has built in regulator)
that is obscure data. for sure. id dont google either.
