Default Sidekick wiring Part Deux

well I wanted to start a nice clean Fresh new thread. The other one had too many questions all jumbled up in it and 80% of my posts were before I even had seen the thing. Well Here we are this is where I am at.

I have a 1993 Suzuki sidekick JLX. It has a manual transmission and a 16 valve engine.

The original problem was that some wiring got messed up near the drivers Rear floor and some wires melted. The Previous owner took it upon himself to replace said melted wires. Now 2 years later I now own it and now its my problem.

The wires that melted are related to the lights. The most damage I saw was a yellow/pink wire that runs from the drivers kick panel to the drivers side of the cargo area.

As of now from what I could mess with I have:

Tail lights
Headlights
front markers

my hazards seem to work fine in the front but I get nothing in the back.
My turn signals do not work. The flasher box attached to the ECU will just buzz If I try to use the turn sigs.

There is a relay on the drivers side of the cargo area that looks factory But has some Po's wiring running to it, What is the relay supposed to be for.

Also the PO replaced some wires that ran from over by the ECU to the passenger side behind the glove box is there any lighting asscociated wiring there?

And On a final note does anyone have a wiring diagram for the optional factory suzuki alarm, I would like to know what wires I can eliminate the PO already did some already.

Thanks all

what country, market, vin or tag nums?
97 markets all are different , and especially the wiring.

that relay,
let me guess. (ouch) the relay is a 7 wire to 3 wire trailer adaptor.l
look behind tail light left for trailer conn , see the PO mess there.

you have lots of issues.
best is to work the most important to you.
pick one thing, and lets try to work it.

id remove all PO junk.

one can tell what was factory OEM and what is not.
just a quick glance and bingo , this is BS.

and we dont have factory alarms here in 92.
there is
PO alrarm
after market
dealer installed, (can be just as bad)
and
OEM factory alarm.s.

if its hacked into main wires with cannable slices , then its got to go.
one wire at a time put the car back to lock box stock and then get it all to work again.
then if you want to add something , buy quality something with full documentation
accect nothing less then full docs. then install it.
then you can support yourself on sad something.
remote start junk and alarms. low jacks, lighthing mods, sound, amps, who knows.

only those wires that are.
make engine go, and stop and lightings.
keep those parts clean.

correct each wire by soldering it and heat shrink tubing. and it will never fail.

I am in the US It might be a while before I can get you a vin. I am in college and me and the zuk are at different corners of the state so I only get about 3 days to work on it aevery once and a while. And I try to collect info between my work sessions

lets start with a simple question what kind of condition would cause the flasher to buzz?

that Relay I looked it up on mitchell is the seatbelt relay So that can go. i dont need a light to tell me to put it on I already wear it.

Well looked it up and I guess it is so the seatbelts will lock so I will need it.

and I just found the wire that melted is the Yel/blu wire that runs off of the wiper washer fuse and also runs back to that seatbelt relay in the back.
