Default help me kant get the roof down on my vitara

hi there im havin trouble gettin the roof down on my 1993 vitara any help i would be very great full iv only had it a weekconfused:

The photos in your gallery show a hardtop, not a convertible!

more like ur confused the photos in my gallery are of a 2008 suzuki swift not vitara mine is a 1993 suzuki vitara jlx 1.6 8v soft top thanks ben

As I remember it, there are 3 places where the top is held down. The two on the side (wings) are popped into place with latches and attached to the top with a snap.

Which part is giving you trouble?

hi 2thick i have managed 2 release the 2 clips on the front of the car and the ones on the back windows which u pull and they release but at the top of the front doors there is 2 hinges do i unscrew them and same on the back windows theres hinges there as well do they need unscrewing too and 1 more thing do u need 2 remove the roof or can u just take it down like any other soft top car many thanks ben

That is a guide that should explain all of the steps.

There should not be any screwing off at all. It is all held into place with button snaps and latches.
