try to spec out car. (this is the www, we dont know, only you know)

suzuki what?, engine j20A , body, year, and better country of delivery.

let me guess,
2.0L 16v DOHC Vitare SE420Diesel SQ420 or SV420 diesel vehicle?

but what year, and loc. they have over 20 models. !

the gas 2L
is a 1.8L simular to 1.8L sport or esteem engine .

a random look at market e02 , shows :
COP coil on plugs
cam angle sensor.
no crank angle sensor.
but thats just on of the 18 markets.
you tell us all the facts and i tell you what it has.

if not it N.Americal, then the tag on the fire wall shows the market codes.
read body tag

see last line, ending in 24 ,that is market e24.
what does yours say. those 2 digits.
cheers
all you need is facts:

the engine lower left side has the engine code and sn , stamped.
EG: SQ420Lnnnnnn (the letter L is the year.)

I think that its a camshaft position sensor only, they are an odd pattern and aren't supported by most aftermarket ECUs. You may need to fit a missing tooth wheel to the crank pulley.

97 escudo. sq420xxx ,, we get closer.
were down to 11 models (patterns) of escudos.

again, if you disclose the last digits of the tag i linked , the car is then fully identified.
see my link above again. and look
see the number above AUG 94 , ?
see 24 , what number is in place of 24 on YOUR car?

bingo, the market code, 1 of 18 world wide.

the J20a just tells what engine block
the market code tells which of the EFI systems used.

Many different systems used world wide. (smog related, every country has diff needs and thus a different system).
and some change mid (ouch) year, at a specific body SN. (forget that for now , but is very important to ordering parts !!!)
