Default can someone please answer this question for me

I have a 2006 suzuki grand vitara and i think that my remote battery is dead because my keyless entry does not work, i tried to press it to lock my doors but it did not work, i also use my remote to start my ignition, today i was trying to start it with the remote but it did not want to start, i mean my starter was turning but the engine did not stay on, so then i used my key instead of the remote and my engine started and it did not turn off. Can that happen when the remote battery is going dead?

wow , we dont have such things in 89-89, you are 8 years of ahead of us here.

is your warranty still in effect? (extended or other wise?)

go to pub lib. ask for chiltons and Mitchels data base, then get the information you need.
they have online schematics too.

a complex car, i just looked at the only prints.
keyless. 2006 options....
keyless start system.
immobilizer.

very complex, and as such , requires complex analysis.
i just went on line to my pub. lib and see the there chiltons online link has the full schematics sets. but lacks other , more important data, like a trouble shooting section
like the FSM has.

so id say, get the FSM and use it to diagnose this system.
or find a Suz pro.
