Default T. Belt / Valve Adj - Easy Job....so far

I posted here some time back about my engine having the famous
ticking lifter noise and decided to do a timing belt and valve adjustment
BC of the miles on the little ride.

I kicked this project off last night and was very surprised as to how
easy this job has gone so far. I had every thing taken off in about
a hour. That was valve cover off, rad removed, timing cover off etc
etc. I was also amazed how easy it is to "bar" the engine over. Once spark
plugs were out I could do this (with some effort) with my hand on the
crank pulley.

Of course I still have to install the new belt, water pump and adj the
valves and know full well that its some work ahead but doubt it
will be too hard. I do have plenty of beer to help out if needed.

I am use to working on a 444 cubic in diesel engine and this is a
breeze compaired to that monstor!

Once again a huge word of thanks for Jerry and his great web site.
Any one that is thinking about doing this and has worked on engines
before this should be real easy. Just wanted to pass that along for
any one who is considering this job.

glad to hear the job went well, i replaced waterpump and timing belt on my 94 16 valve, and i agree, the job is quite straightforward, adjusting valves with the feeler gauge was a little tricky but doable without any special tools, congrats!
