if you go under water more.
if you park out side more.
if you drive in dusty roads more.

the inspection should include.
1: gasket and o-rings not broken, cracked or damged.
it is a simple device. but the springs are tricky,
dont dissemble it unless you are sure you can put it back to gethter.
pull them and drive (30 mins to take off )way less with air tools( i recommend air)
HF has almosts free air tools. (by historical comparison)
if they are bad and you dont want to clean them the buy new warn hubs.

if you want autos, i cant help you, i dont like them nor know were to get them
i dont like them because they are hard to test and hard to clean.
