Default Coolant or water in Oil...head gasket?

Lately I've noticed some disturbing bubbles and foam in my oil, not enough o make the entire dipstick look covered in mud, but enough to be noticeable. Could this only be a head gasket leak?

A pressure test will tell you if the head gasket if failing

What's the history on the engine, mileage, did it overheated?

You could also check the spark plugs look for sign of antifreeze/coolant in the cylinders.

compression test, + leak down test + RAD leak down test + RAD exh in coolant test .

any or all will prove the theory as will the SIGNS:
milky or worse oil,
grease, oil, soot, carbon floating on RAD neck or overfill tank.
and STEAM out tail pipe ,hot engine.
spark plug tips.

( ah , if flush , a bore scope, 2 guys in my shop have HF bore scopes at home)
cheap. and can be rented.
no one ever considers renting tools. as it seems.
History:
has your car froze in the last 6 months.
how much and how long.
did you measure your antifreeze protection level before winter set in?
no? , why?

it's only a $1 collant hyrameter tool. any one can buy it and use it.
history is important. only you know that.

cheers.
