if you cleand the maf , then it was accessable, cool
so what country are you in, i keep nots on who has cleanable ones and who dont.
im glad you didnt buy a new maf.
may here just pop one in, and i feel bad when that happens and it dont fix it.
very expensive lil bugger it is.

you do know where the timing (ign) freeze jumper is ,right, (near RF headlight shell )

glad your cat wasnt melted.
nor cracked headers.
all can make it run like crud.
some of these problems take hard work to narrow down, few get fixed guessing.

one more,,,, sorry
do you do lots of in heavy traffic driving (very dirty air )
or long distance.

just curious, as to the effects of road draft dirty air on MAF's

Howto-test-a-MAF

updated my maf page.
soon
will add the Leaf Blower test to MAF page. (no kidding)
plus some duct tape.
