Cool Buying parts for 1998 Geo Tracker....

I been surfing for basic engine parts for my 98 Tracker and have noticed that a lot of sites only list the Tracker up 1997. How interchangable are the basic engine parts, including the sensors, between the older ones and the 1998. AND: Is EBAY the best deal on most of the parts or is there another reasonable shopping place on line. What does it mean when my code returns
"P0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1). Is this the one before the catalytic converter ?

Bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that has the #1 cylinder. Bank 2 is the opposite side of the engine.

many sites have huge errors. I just found one of the top makers of thermostats (2 diff co.s were both wrong)
This is not rare.

best it to decide what part you want and what brand, or OEM.
you can see the diffs , here
https://www.trademotion.com/partloca...?siteid=214330
see part and year of applic.

best deal on o2 is , find the Brand and PN first, never trust anyone on Fleebay to sell you the correct parts, find out yourself then order by exact pn.
OEM or other wise,.

Bosch Vehicle Part Finder

testing-Oxygen sensor

13073 is the PNP part, (plugs N, and plays, no splicing.
please do go to Bosch and look up your car. ( never trust my pn, as it could change)

bank is defined by SAE.
Troublcodes.net Trouble Codes OBD & OBD2 Trouble Codes and Technical info & Tool Store. By BAT Auto Technical
see bank 1 and bank 2 mentioned in first paragraphs.

hope that helps you.

rockauto.com has best selection
CSK.com ( partsamerica.com reallY) google, "CSK auto"
and
NAPA.

top 3. for good indexing, good selection and price.

your heater burned up , so now car wastes gas every time you start up or stop,.
