Got a 94 4wd with auto tranny. Transmission started slipping going into 1st gear so I bought some Lucas transmission "stop slip". I poured a few ounces down the dipstick. Hope I didn't go into the "wrong hole"
It seemed to help with the slipping. Is that where the transmission fluid goes?

You are correct. Automatic transmissions are filled via the dip stick tube.
