Question 94 sidekick data link connector

I'm trying to set the timing on this 94 sidekick, Chilton says the connector is some where near the right headlight.I cannot find the connector any where in the area of the right headlight!(or the battery)
Has anyone had this problem & is there a easy way to find it?

chiltons mixes year, they speak 96-98 and yours is 94 , store rags, the make.

you forgot to say what engine.
but my new page solves that. ( you get to answer as you go)

How to set ignition timing

next to battery and it is the rubber capped with conn. not the yellow naked one.
and there is 4 pins and 6 pin types. (i guess at 6 for yours???)

it is the TIMING freeze jumper.

the jumper is document on my CEL page
but again you must id engine and the pin counts.

Check Engine Lamp stuck ON?

see cell boxs in above link, they are for spark freeze only.
