97 sidekick with 4x4 noise

I have a 97 sidekick 1.6l with 90000 KMS. When I drive around with the front hubs locked but in 4x2 i get a vibration noise in my front left axle area. It seems to be repeatable when i make a turn, but when i go strait it does not happen consistently. When i disengage the hubs it goes away completley.
Any ideas?

Wheel side CV joint? Engaged hub has effect of loading the CV on a turn?

or bad locking ? hub,remove examine it for damage, then the bearings on the
main hub damage, the work inboard to CV.

always start for cheap and easy to expensive to hard.
btw the cheap and easy are on a 7.5k mile (not km) inspection point in schedule.

look at all things, in left front. brakes, suspension for road hazard damage ,loose bolts
that bolt on the lower arms (inboard) LOVES to get loose, check it all ,
wiggle all , us a 2x4 wood board to stress suspension items.
