These guys are right, these machines are pretty simple. The alternator output is low compared to newer vehicles. jtgh is right, some of the new stuff is pretty cool. It's common now for vehicles to use "can-bus" systems. The don't have fuses or regulators, everyting is controlled by a computer (usually about 7 on the vehicle). this is great stuff if you learn to understand how it works, a nightmare if you do something wrong! I like my tracker because it's simple!
