Is the 1.8 Sidekick motor an interfierance motor

Pretty strait forward question. Is the Sidekick Sport motor(1.8 or 1800) a interferiance motor? I picked up one with a broken timing chain. Just wondering what my odds are.

i think all 16v kicks are interference but 1.8s are rare here, .
ask on the esteem side as that is what it originates from.
and you might find parts cheaper for the esteem 1.8L (just cross check PN's)

well she is an interfierance motor. Talked to a suzuki tech and they confirmed on the the suzuki tech line.
