96 Track Blower Motor Switch/HVAC Cables

My blower motor switch housing delaminated. Suzuki only sells the switch with a redesigned cable housing and levers for less than $50. Because the original cables are held upside down at the handle end by difficult to remove clips, the housing needs to be removed from the vehicle to access them by removing the glove box and a curved dashboard support held by an 8mm nut, 10 mm hex bolt and phillips screw. The housing will then pass down through the glove box area trailing the LH blue and white cables previously removed at the other ends. The clips are discarded in this revision and the cables pressed into holders adjacent to each handle. The only problem is that they don't appear to lock in the housing as the cables are too small in diameter. I'll call Keith at Southwest Monday-maybe I have to buy new cables or there is a clip upgrade. Will post conclusion this week.
