Default fuel injector rattle

i have 89 tracker 1.6l fuel injected auto.. Problem is, it runs good and quiet until you put a load (fan, headlights, etc) on engine, then the injector sounds like it is rattling. with air housing on it sounds almost like a lifter rattling. If you start to drive it gets quiet at certian speeds. When you take all the load off the noise goes away. nice in summer but gets cold in winter in edmonton.
any suggestions

the injector is in the center of the throttle body. you can here that.

dont you mean a VSV is rattling.

look here.
how-to-find-EFI-parts
click 8v photos.

use a stethoscope ($3 at harbor freight) to really find noises.

or a plastic or rubber tube held to hear an then touching objects.
stay away from the fan.
please.

yes i can hear it plane as day. it does come from the injector. if air filter housing is on it echos to filter canister and sounds like exaust rattling. i know it is the injector because when the filter housing is off and you look down at the injector you can see that it looks like water bouncing off the butterfly.

A TBI injected 8v engine , that water is injected fuel.

noise posts are hard to diagnose. as we cant look or see it.
stethoscope is exactly best for this kind of problem. nothing on earth better !

it might be the IAC rattling (either of them) 1 post a year on bad IAC guts.
it could be the linkage to the TB. or kickdown (you never did tell tranny type)
It could be a loose butterfly plate (rare of all)
or it just might be a symptom and not a problem. (see #3)

last posters here with a rattle here. TB = Throttle Body.
1: IAC top Electric was bad and rattled.
2: IAC same was loose on mount and gasket was missing.
3: No problem at all with TB, but Vacuum fluttered like crazy ,
at idle the vacuum must be steady at about 19 inches HG. if not, then your engine is very sick. (stuck vavles, burned valves, sticking valves, or a dead clinder, or a slipped cam shaft belt).

Id be all over a vacuum gauge and using my stethoscope.
one can use the stetho to learn that something is , or is not making noise.
Not making a noise at some item , lets you stop wondering and wasting time , you can proceed to the real problem.

You could be the first, TBI injector fail we have ever seen. Stetho it will tell for sure!
wires, ECU , but never and injector ( cept the guys how hot wire it and burn it to a crisp)

the fluttering intake ,is a common post here.
the cause can many times be surprising.

one guy had a vacuum nipple plugged on the EGR port , another at the dash pot cold start fast idle diaphram on TB. another had the EGR stuck open and it was flapping in the breeze and wrecking the idle.

EGR is a std, service point an all cars made.

they are short lived with out proper cleaning.
