btw reverse power bleeding works wonders on motorcycles and aircraft.

avoids bucking the natural travel of the bubbles.

If you are talking about the load sensing proportional valve (LSVP) in the rear of the vehicle, mine started leaking two years ago. I checked with the local GM dealer to find that the LSVP would cost in the neighborhood of $400. Looked in the factory shop manual only to find that it is not a servicable item and must be replaced. That was good enough for me, so I took it apart. Lots of gunk inside from fluid that had never been changed by PO. It has a number of seals in it, so I cleaned it up as best I could. I worked with my local NAPA dealer and found replacement seals and "O" rings. Replaced the seals and rings, put it back together and hasn't leaked a drop since. I figured, what have I got to loose by pulling it apart and trying to fix it myself. Part of the problem is that most people don't change brake fluid as often as they should, so contaminants build up. Considering the replacement cost of the LSVP, I now change fluid every year. Takes about 1hr start to finish, and is a lot cheaper than a new LSVP.
Just my relatively informed, off the cuff, back yard mechanic, gut level, eyeball it up and guestimate, way of doing things....that's all...

that sounds like a plan,i was wondering what it looked like on the inside .
as for now i just have the brake lines joined with a 3 way splitter, the funny thing is it stopes better now than it used to (i am wondering how long this stupid valve has been holding back fluid from the rear brakes) i guess i was just actually using front brakes

If you do rebuild the LSPV then it would be really good if you could posts pics and part numbers.
Cheers

Good...just remember, there are no guarantees. You might not find the seals you need....or enough damage may be done that it may not be internally reparable. Good luck with it.

Also, you are stopping better now...or it seems you are because the pressure to the rear wheels is not being regulated relative to the weight on the rear wheels. So the rears are doing a lot more work. If you get into an emergency situation, where you hit the brakes really hard, the rears may lock up, slide, and end up swapping ends or taking you out of control. IMO, you need to fix or replace the LSPV for safety's sake. JMHO
