My 1991 Tracker was doing the same thing -turned out to be a short on the backup lights.

It would periodically blow the fuse that powers the backup lights and the turn signals.

I have not found the short for the backup lights -so for now I just unplugged the backup light switch connection. There is a wire lead that comes down from the engine bay to the transmission to connect to the backup switch. I just unplugged that connector.

Its a work around, but for now the turn signals work, and that is important.

Off topic here, that tracker in ur pic is sweet! is it lifted? how big r those tires? did you have to cut the fenders & rear wheel wells to make em' fit?

It's amazing how a little lift kit & bigger tires make these little trucks look so much better.

My 92 pulled the same thing...replaced flashers, relays, checked & double checked wiring...even changed multifunction switch.
Turned out being that my battery was the culprit...

The early '90s Sidekicks seem to have a problem with a turn signals. Visited a friend in Australia some 13 years ago and her then near-new 'kick had difficulty signalling one way. My partner's '93 'kick has had difficulty signalling left for the past 7 years (have to hold it down just right).
