Tecnical Question: steering wheel

Hello everyone. I have a 99 Tracker and in its steering wheel it has an airbag. So what I want to do is get rid of the airbag and put on an after market wheel such as Grant. Heres the hard part. Since it has an airbag I cant find a listing for an adapter kit. The only thing I could find listed was for a 97 tracker. What I need to know is. Will this fit a 99 tracker? Did the steering shaft change diameter with the addition of the airbag? I know the columns changed just dont know about the shaft. If this wont work does anyone know of a way to do this? Maybe an adapter kit that will work. Thanks
