Default Snow tires

I searched the old threads, but didn't find the answer.

I'm thinking of putting 225/75/15 snow tires on my sidekick.(cheaper) It now has 215's.
Will the 225's fit the standard rims OK, and will there be any other issues I should know about?
This is my wife's daily driver and I want it to handle the roads well this winter. I hear these [2 door] rigs can be dicey in the snow & ice at highway speeds.

Thanks!

Tires will fit, speedo will read slower than you are really going. I have a 2dr 4x4 and have not found it to be dicey to drive in ice and snow, but the main question is how fast do you think is safe to drive in S&I? I slow down to (45 mph max) because a 4x4 cannot stop or handle any better than a 4x2. This is the misconception that lands 4x4 on their tops in the ditches. Have the wife slow down and watch out for the dumb asses speeding in the snow and ice. If you wreck in NC while going to fast in S&I you will get a ticket for exceding a safe speed!
