Default four door

In june i bought a 2dr 1995 geo tracker 1.6 16 valve but now im re thinking that for connivence i should of gotten a 4 door. can anyone send me some pictures of the interior of their 4 doors just so i can see how much more room there is. How easy is it to take out the back row of seats? thank you very much!

okay,
it is 2am.
I am not going outside tonight to take a picture of the
interior.

I have never REMOVED the back seat of TheZuke!,
but before I had the child seat installed in the back,
I often FOLDED the back seat up against the front
seats.

Once, with it folded that way, I carried a small table saw
and a 5HP 22" John Deere snow blower home from an auction.
(In addition to the 4' bookshelf on the roof rack.)
(I didn't want to buy a roof rack, the dealer had installed it,
but now I'm glad it has it. Great for hauling stuff home from
the lumber yard or the occasional hay bale.)

Back to your question, tomorrow I'll measure the distance behind
the rear seat (normal position), and try to get a measurement of
the distance with it folded.

Okay G-G-G,

I measured about 27" of floor between the rear seat bottom and
back door seal with the rear seat in its normal position.

When the seat gets folded forward, there is closer to 40" of distance.

Does the 2 door do "the neat thing" where you move the front
seats to full forward on their tracks, remove the front seat headrests,
put the floor stick shift full forward,
and fold the front seat backs down until they are level with the
rear seat cushions? Voila! a lumpy bed!

Default 4 door with no rear seats

I have a 97 tracker 4 door 4x4. I have 2 large dogs and regularly haul large electronic components, PCs, boxes etc as part of my busniess. I removed the rear seats and built a wood "bed" which extends from the rear door to about 6" behind the front seats. I put tie downs on the bed and built a ledge around all sides of it to keep things from rolling around.

This is by far the best use of the space back there, I can put dog bedding back there and my woofies are happy and have lots of room to lounge on trips. I can fit am amazing amount of cargo back there. My tracker is very much so a utility vehicle and works hard all the time without the slightest complaint. I take good care of it in return.

The extra space with that seat out is so worth it. I haven't noticed any inconvenience at all with not having the extra seating. Anyone who has dogs and/or hauls things on a regular basis should do a mod like mine. I'll snap some pics of how I have things set up in the next few days and post them here.
