Default Wiring question :)

Well, finally got to the step of removing the head, in my on-going quest to replace the head-gasket. And, on removing the head, I find this on right side of the engine bay, underneath the intake manifold, towards the firewall end...

Anyone have the wiring diagram for a 1991 Tracker 8valve 1.6L, and can tell me what the orange with black stripe and blue spots wire is? I suppose I'll re-connect it anyway; so it may not matter, but nice to know

Well, the 4WD light in the dash works, so sounds like #2... So the antilock brakes are supposed to only work in 2wd? I'm learning more about cars already And will definitely re-swage that. I kinda like the idea of things like brakes working as designed... Those engineers must have a good reason for it, after all

apitts@interchange.ubc.ca should handle a big file. Full schematics would be *awesome*, since I'm spending all my money on head gaskets and haven't had any to buy an FSM yet...

Oh, and context: the stud at the lower middle of the frame is the top of the block. The batteries out of the frame, top right. Suspension mount, top left, out of frame. Camera's looking straight down. Intake manifold would be between camera and all this stuff. Hose above my hand takes coolant to heater core. Blue stuff at right is firewall.

Sorry, I can see how these zoomed-in pics are confusing

Default The hand that blocks the businees end.....

look ma. no hands, tah dah ,, LOL.

as time goes ,by, oil and gas too, it faded. so my comments above are wrong.

those 2 inj, wires are yellow and red.

yell is neg. driver
red is pos. driver.

the red faded to orange.

the two wires, l break out to a pair , go in to a black sheath and arrive at the
rear of TB , at injector feed.

car wont run at all, with out the injector feeds.

I hope someone didn't hot wire it and blow up ECU driver for Injector. (we get lots for people(zukers) advising it , wrongly)

proof >>>> http://carfix.stufftoread.com/ECU/injector-drivers.jpg

see the only schematic of a 8v injector in the whole wide world (cept in joe suzuki's basement deep below MT Fuji, lol)

with that data, you need no help. full car shematic , injector drivers ,and real Japanese transistor PN.

wahdah yah think.?

ah what the heck the full spec on every single driver transistor on any 8v kick 91-95.
transistors

hows that for hot nfo.

cheers.

MY Hot wire comment:
my advice applies to normal life and not suck 100 miles deep in a forest , at 9000 ft and it just started to snow.
please do what ever to save you bacon. been there.......

Huh. The car was running fine, so perhaps I can't blame this one on a PO, and actually yanked this wire out all by myself while dissassembling... Hope I didn't yank anything less obvious, or I might be tracing a flaw in a dead Tracker next week...

if you hand is covering what I posted and the wire is open,
the car will not start or run.

the conn. holds the TPS wires (4x) and the Injector (2x)
you can see in my photo the two groups of wires breaking out. TPS and injection.

collateral damage is normal in war and car repair. nothing ventured ,nothing gained.
cheers.
