Shifter Bushings...

I have looked thru the threads and cannot find my answer. Please help!!! I have a 1994 Geo Tracker 2WD with a 5speed trans. The shifter is very loose. I have removed the shifter, and looked thru the threads and found there are two bushings used to keep the shifter tight. I called my local Suzuki dealer this morning and rthey stated there was not bushings used in this model Can someone please supply me with the part numbers of those bushings, or a Suzuki dealer who knows what I need. BTW, my spring is not broken, or anything... Thanks...

All regular contributors must be otherwise engaged. By now, you should have been buried in repetitive posts re: this issue. Call Keith at Southwest: 800/256-7933 and ask him to fax you a copy of Figure # 58. From your description, it seems you need nos. 20 and 29.

Thanks for the great input. Called and spoke to Keith, he had one of the items in stock and the other he would have in 2 days. He is shipping them to me. Thanks for your great advice and thanks for monitoring this board. I am sure i wil lhave many more questions...

I spoke to Keith and told him the numbers I got from the first response, and he seemed to know what I needed. If they com in wrong, I will get the number from you. Thanks for letting me be a part of your board...

My Fig 58 is recent from Keith-same parts as your 19 and 26.
