Default Viton o-ring source

I have searched and found that the distributor o-ring failure is common, which is now my problem. I guess this question is directed to jtgh as he referenced the viton o-ring in a previous post. Do you have a source, size and/or part number for these o-rings for a 1.6, 16v? Thanks in advance. Also, in a previous thread, you requested input on the 1.6, 16v throttle body to throttle body plate clearance, when closed, as measured with a numbered drill bit. I have cleaned two throttle bodies (both from 95's) and found zero clearance. In fact, the plate shut so tight that when cleaner was sprayed in, it held the solvent like a soup bowl. Fantastic Japanese machining.

no prob. that source i found was out of 100 ww.
and they do not rip you off
my comment was to help others search it out if land here.

if you buy a 50 cent o-ring on ebay they will charge you $10 to $20.
plus shipping, ( cost them $1 and charge you $8) Ebay can stink.. YMMV

Hopefully this image is usable. I don't know if this has been addressed before but in my 97 FSM for a 16v distributor case, when replacing the O-ring, silicone sealant needs to be applied to part of the case, see fig 47, lower right hand corner. When I removed the dist. case from my 95 16v, it also had risidual silicon at this location.

I guess I'm going to have learn how to post images. LOL

add reply button, not fast.
then fill out words
then scoll down see manage attachments.
browse , upload it ,close.
done.

silicon sealant, has many types.

all O-rings , must be installed with Silicone grease not sealant (sealant is a caulk)

the purpose (many) is to prevent mangling the seal on insertion. (no puns ok)

im making a hard to find parts page this week.
Injector seals, O-rings, theromostats for 1.8L

please do not forget to mark the dizzy in 2 places before extraction.
rotor to body lip and dizzy mount screw to base.
being at TDC 1 is really help full.

this dizzy leak fools folks into thinking they have a VC gasket leak.
cheers.
that document , does it mention pn and brands.
if yes, try this cross refr from suzuki.
