starting problem

Sometimes When i turn the ignition key it wont even turn over but if i wiggle the shifter it will start. Which leads me to think it is the parking safety. Anyone know how to fix this and where it is located at.

Give engine and trans details. If 3 spd auto, I think it's on the passenger side of trans, just behind the bellhousing. Hopefully someone can confirm this. Good luck

i think both slush pumps have similar set up.

see that object on shifter there , center right side.
that is the PRD321 switch ( minus 3 for 3 speed) or such.
that is bad.
or

only needs adjustment.
it has a linkage , nut,loosen and adjust it , to center the play.
