I'm looking for budget conscience alternator ideas. I'd like to upgrade some lights (2 or 3 offroad lights @ 55w) and other small electronics (200w stereo amp and winch) but I don't know if the stocker will handle it.

I saw a listing on ebay for a kit to install a GM alternator on the Trackick. The GM alt has more power and is also cheaper than an OEM one. I did not google it, but I am sure you could find a vender for the converson kit.
