Default Rear suspension

Hello. Need some help. I have A 92 tracker 4x4 that has one of those masterkit lifts (coil booster).
My rear springs are FUBAR, and I need to replace but I'd like to eliminate the boosters and just put longer springs and shocks.
Thought maybe someone would know what springs will do the trick? And I think it was Crown vic shocks that are good for me, but not sure what year car I should get them from?

Check older posts. I remember reading a reference to Crown Victoria rear shocks.

Not sure on the springs.... but I have read it on another forum about what springs you can use I just cant remember what they were....

But I can tell you on the shocks.....
Yes use Crown vic any of the early to mid 90's will work....
$15.00 each at auto zone...

I remember reading somewhere, sometime that the jeep TJ coils (from1997-2005 or 2006) would work. If I remember correctly they give you close to or a little over 2" of lift. Then flip the strut mounts and get 90-95 Crown vic rear shocks. The camber bolts for the front end alignment will be needed also for proper alignment. -Ed

Ok I went back and looked and they were using Cherokee 4" Lift Springs In Rear

and also they were talking about using Ford Ranger and Explorer coils...

O yea..... Dont forget that you will need to make the spacer for the rear end right were that ball joint connect to it.. That way you keep that joint at the right angle after lifting.....

Thanks fellas...much appreciated. Only lifting 2" so I shouldn't have to space anything. It is lifted now, and I've put over 100k on it...runs titties...looks way better than stock!

Even at 2" lift I would suggest spacing the joint on the top of the rear end...

Because after lifting any at all it puts it in a non factory position and will put stress on this joint in the wrong way....
