I recently aquired from a junk yard a new bumper that had a grill guard added as a bonus. Here is a link to a similar setup as mine.

The issue I am running into is this, I have the complete new bumper and guard attached to my vehicle but the bottom mounting brackets to the bumper were missing, possibly were on the old vehicle before the car was stripped. I went to a local dealership to see if the brackets could be ordered, but they were of no help. They said the bumper and brackets come only as a set and they had no install paperwork so I could view what the brackets would look like.
I see the frame has only one bolt hole on each side which I assume is a mounting point for the bracket. the grill guard has two mounting holes. Its actually a strange setup since the grill guard drops about 8-10cm down from frame holes. I have used some bar stock with a hole to go to the frame and the grill mounting hole. The issue with this setup is in the event of a front end collision the bottom of the grill would swing back towards the a-arms as the bar stock would act as a pivot.
Does anyone have clear shots of what the actual brackets would look like. I have come up with some ideal solutions on a proper mounting bracket but would like to see what the orginal design is in order to see if my ideas are correct.
thanks for any help,
FRANK
