Thumbs up

Hello, I guess for a for a first post the request was a off beat one to say the least, I will go ahead and introduce myself. I live in Tennessee and I have drove 4x4's for over 30 years. I guess right now I dont even need one but I have two. I really love driving the Tracker and actually owned a new off the lot one the last year they made them before a work force cut down forced me to sell it fast.
It was a fine ride. I have drove or owned Jeeps and Dodges as well as about all brands. I own right now a 94 Tracker, it is the 16 valve with a automatic. It is of course a 4x4, stock tires as far as size and even the same stock wheels. It has air and it is a convertable. It is the Tropical Green color and I removed the Tracker emblems from the side. I did not like the pink color. It is a Tennessee vehicle and has a very straight body and no rust. Of course bought it used. My other vehicle is a 4x4 Blazer and it runs great as well.
I asked for the pics because I would love to see and read about them, the tracker seems to be a perfect ride to have this popular swap and I had a pt cruiser and found many sites and pics, some even were 4x4 as well. Is there a older Chevy model out there that has not had a small block swap. I would so not. Just a opinion from my side of the fence?
I have been reading from this site since I have joined, it is the best one I have found, I judge by the members and the answers and questions they offer. Some really talented people are daily residents on this site. It is really a great site.
Some about myself, I am almost 50 (2 months) and have worked on vehicles all my life. I am even a moderator on a popular site that is a spring off from the still running TV show that in some way or shape has been on the air for more than 25 years. I am semi retired yet still employeed. I dont think I can never not work. Well this has been a long enough post. If you regulars dont have any links I guess there is probally not any as I think you all know your stuff on these Trackers.. great work on this site.

I really like the links, thanks for the post. I like the second one a lot better, that is going in the right direction. Seems like he needs a electric fuel pump on it. That is a wild ride though..hehe

Wow, just spent about a hour on that link, some really great videos of trackers in the mud. We have drained lake bottoms in this area and I have had mine every bit as muddy as some of those. Great internet time well spent!

Check out Suzuki Lightning Conversions based out of Florida(RePower your Suzuki Samurai with a V6 or V8 Engine Conversion from Suzuki Lightning Conversions) they sell bare bones and full kits to install a V-6 or V-8 into Suzukis. If you've got the money, that would be the way to go. Unless you're running monster tires, a V-6 is more than enough muscle.

Also, this guy had a V-6 in an Lj (old Samurai) then installed a nice V-8. He's got some good pics and video. (YouTube - suzuki 410 V6 vs V8)

Man, those are the kind of sites that keep me reading! I would love to do the conversion with the V6. We have a Blazer with a 4.3 Vortec...Hmmm lol
I just had to edit this, I read the lightning site till I fell asleep last night, I would like to thank you for posting and taking the time to post them up for me. Great reading.
