Default Factory removable hardtop?

Dose anyone know if the 1996 Tracker came with a removable factory hardtop? I have a 1996 Tracker with a 2 piece hard top. It looks factory. Two interior knobs on each side and the top will come off. I need to find a right rear quarter glass. It dosnt look like the Besttops or Rally tops. Thanks for any help.

Welcome Mike:
All the 2dr that I have ever seen new were either tin top or conv. Before I purchased my hardtop, I researched many brands and one of them used knobs instead of latches. I just cannot remember the name of who made it.
Sorry,
Bear

I purchased a Rallytop..a little over $1000.00 with shipping. I added a roof rack so mine was $1200.00.
Other members here have other brands on their trackicks.
Google Tracker Sidekick Hardtop and review.

I know this is an old post,

but I am wondering if the top looks like this:

2 pce hardtop

I have one exactly like that and would love to know who makes it... I have been searching for hours and no luck at all....

It is not a Rallytop because the roof is smooth on mine and does not have the raised ridges on it. It could be an old design and be out of production now.

sublevel, the hardtop in those pictures looks just like mine and I have a Besttop.

Not sure about how my front part compares to yours as mine was stolen off the rack 1 week after I put the top on. I just cut the front off the soft top and used that. Now I have a soft/hard top.

But your back part looks just like mine. The shape of the rack on top, the ridges on the top and even the two buttons on each side of the back window where the struts attach.

I'm not sure how old mine is as I bought it off eBay around 4 years ago. I'm guessing kind of old.

You won't find anything on it if it is a Besttop since they stopped production quite a few years ago. However, you can still get parts for it from Besttop. I recently needed a rear quarter window and was able to get one from them....pretty reasanable too.

Does it use the knobs on either side to hold it in place?

I need a new foam gasket, but the one that came off of it is odd side and no one around here has one (prob have to order)

also it all ABS Plastic feeling, no carpet or anything on either part

also no rear glass latches like I see on most the other ones

also the glass on these seem to be held in with 4 screws on each side, something I haven't notice on the other hardtop (from what I can see)

If anyone needs some pictures I can get some posted next weekend

I was also looking to see if anyone had picture of a Guidon or Steel Horse hard top to compare
