no spark from plugs and from the coil itself? (move wire to coil from a plug and test)
no spark , most likely bad ECU or bad cas sender in dizzy.
ECU loves to make spark and rarely does not. very rare. ( forgetting the dang caps)
cas is easy to test with an LED.
the CEL must come on , key on, no start, if it dont.
1: cel lamp bad or fuse to dash blown.
2: ecu dead, ( CEL on keyon is a test )
if must come on.
now , if you have 30watt solding iron must replace the corner cap, 33 cents.
all most all dead ECU is because of this very old and leaky cap.
they buldge, they crack and the blow out side , with tiny looking vulcano , or just drip.
just mark what pin is Plus and Minus and the replace observing polarity.
any tech,can do this, any. ( recommend solder sucker or solder wick to remove old solder, use only rosin solder to do it and never acid core)
ESD: (many worry, and is real.)
(if paranoid about ESD ,just do all work laying on a sheet of aluminum foil from wifes kitchen. a grounded tip soldering is best but you can wrap bare wire on tip rear and the other end to the aluminum foil, making ESD , not an issue.
a 3 wire soldering iron solves this.
work on metal or wood bench and no pastic top tables.
esd = electrostatic discharge. ( MOS devices are sensative to it , CPU is MOS)

replace C111 on all 91 kicks, and some newer , upto 95. (cant speak for behind)
if they say , rubycon, they are crapola.
get them out.
id check lamp first. Ians f no fire to guages me, that all guages and lamps dead , then tell me.
check fuses , if still no dash indictors, then we need to work that.

we can make any 8v work, it is a nice engine and efi system.and the engine dont blow up with tbelt snaps. ( just 1 injector to worry too and one can watch it squirt !!!)
