Default 96 Sidekick Sport Need Idler Pulley

I have a 1.8 Sport 96
I'm trying to find the idler pulley or just the bearing.
NOTE not the 90mm tensioner pulley everyone is selling that rockauto, Autohaus, etc.

I took the pulley off and will try finding the bearing with the bearing number tomorrow or Monday.

Any other suggestions?

Default Serpentine belt not the timing chain.

Its the idler pulley for the serpentine belt not the timing chain.
I believe the dealer does have the part but I believe its grossly over priced for a bad bearing. I think they want a few hundred bucks.

The bearing says NSK 766 6005du2 Japan

i just checked NAPA. I dont know if the guy was just lazy to match the bearing up, but he checked on the computer and said they didnt have it.

Any ideas?

Also how often are the timing chains supposed to be changed?
Thanks

ahh, accessory drive belt.

most stores , do not sell , parts for 1.8L kicks. but can special order.
very little support.

there are 2 parts,
1 is a tensioner bottom: is pn;17530-77e00 , just a simple bearing and pulley.
2 is a idler. on top is pn: 17540-77e00 complex.

there are the real suzuki parts.
the question is does anyone make them but suzuki and Geo GM.?

suz: $38 clams. (complex one is $121 )
https://www.trademotion.com/partloca...&siteid=214330

i did www search on that pn
found gates makes it.
17540-77e00 , 38156.

Amazon.com: Gates 38156 Belt Tensioner Assembly: Automotive

last and best;
Gates Part Locator & Interchange

everything gates makes for 1.8 , one page.
and both are made. and sold,
tell Napa to wake up.

I checked with the local dealer. They said its $75 for the upper idler pulley. I'm going to order it today.

On another note I purchased the tensioner pulley by accident. how do you seperate the pulley from the tensioner?

7 is the idler pulley. this is whats bad on my car.

I bought the tensioner pulley by accident. figured I'd change it also since it makes slight noise not too bad.
That I cant figure out how to separate.
The tensioner is 10 but it doesnt show the pulley separate.

But 7 is the part that I priced for $75 the dealer. The price seems quite excessive for just a bearing. It can be pressed out of the pulley.
