Default Bucking Bronco

I am having issues with my 1994, 1.6L Sidekick.

There is bucking action around 2000rpm and then goes away when I accelerate. No problems with starting and idles perfect. As soon as I start accelerating slowly, there is a miss and I have to give it more gas. I have changed the wires, plugs, distributor cap, but still no result. Any ideas?

You did change the rotor with the cap, right?
Other standard "tune-up" parts: air filter, fuel filter, PCV valve check/replace,

Is the "bucking" at 2K rpm in any gear?
(if it is limited to only one gear, don't rule out unbalanced tires-REALLY!
the imbalances could "harmonize" at a specific speed and smooth out above
that speed)

maybe I will try the PCV valve, it will do it in any gear, just as long as its low RPM's.

Thanks for the reply.

92 what, 8v or 16v , 2 very different EFI systems.?
classic transitional failure, lean ( assuming rotor is new in dizzy,)
it looks to me like a bad TPS.
that is my guess.
the tps detects a fast foot and applies enrichment, lack of that , it goes lean.

or
car is running lean all the time and enrich mode , is not enough to make good.

EGR weak or sticking intermittently during cruise.
bad PVC (stuck closed or open)

but first tell use what engine you really have.?
