Thumbs up Sorry, nothing bad to report

It's running like a top!

Here's an informational site that gets some of it's info from the U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)

Free to join and has all the recalls & service bulletins info for the Geo's and most other makes.

Auto Recalls, Free Car Reports, Consumer Complaints, Service Bulletins

They claim to be "Your #1 Automobile Consumer Advocate" so Nader might be lurking in the background

I found it very interesting that for my model and year there were no recalls, 60 complains (some very scary), 4 bulletins, no investigations. EnJoY!

THANKS!
you can go to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
online and see the complaints RAW. ( heck even file one, just for fun) hehehe.

one idiot in Alaska complained his new chev. PU is crap because when driving in tall quak grass at 40mph off road and hitting a stump the cheap suspension gives out. what a hoot.
most complaints are like that , the clueless.

and on line?

I'm glad he killed it. A Spider convert caught on fire after being rear quarter paneled and my best friend at the time died in the explosion. I'm not a Nader fan but he has save a few lives.

there are few cars that can take a tank hit and come out clean.

keep in mind , the old cars had no high pressure fuel leaving the tank.
now we have 30 to 50 psi fuel, any hard hit can break that loose. (feel safer?)

when you drive a car down the street , and you get hit or you hit something,
no man on earth can predict what will happen next.
no man. (Human)

Chaos theory is just that.

there is sales BS and then reality. ( ones sells, the other speaks truth)
ask any man that works in any wrecking yard ,what he thinks?

or any (my neighbor) paramedic thinks?

the anwers will be a surprise to most.

Remember that famous crash test ( a waste mostly) and they decided to test one day.
at 6 inches offset. , remember?

the dash came off at the side (this time) and came back and cut the heads off the dummies, both!
We look and wonder, gee ,you not going to retest all the last cars for that?,
and what about all these other 1000 ways to crash a car.

its a side show.

truth is , they all crash and burn , randomly.

IMHO.

Kill your TV.

#1 safety device (beside the brain), never believe in Green lights. ( see ?) Cell phones, drunks. .. siezures.... 90 years olds almost blind... and the crazy ones...
